The old car thing? Classic beauty, solid design, built for the long haul with comfort and style. My design foundation is old school – fine tuned hand skills of traditional cut and paste and formal education set a solid foundation for my skills. Formal education – Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Kent State University and have been working professionally as a designer ever since.
The identity of a brand is crucial in this digital era. Social media and web platforms have been simplified in such a manner that they no longer have many design elements that used to aid in the recognition of a brand. It's now up to the brand's logo, color palette, tone and spokesperson to make it stand out from the rest.
I spent nearly 10 years at Matrix Essentials in Solon, Ohio and then in New York after LOreal acquired the company. For seven years, I ran my own office on Furnace St. in Akron and worked independently as business owner and sole designer. I maintained a client base with annual contracts and some without. After that I spent 8 years as Senior Art Director at Aquage, yet another company that required impeccable detail and a modern flare that only a seasoned pro would have.
When I’m not at work, taking my four legged fur babies for a walk, or hanging out with friends you can catch me out on a country road riding my Harley. Please feel free to drop me a line. Click here to go to the contact section.
I've been fortunate to work with some of the most talented visionaries and photographers throughout the years that helped optimize my craft and eye for design. I have a versatile style and collection of work.
